How to operate the glass straight line edging machine?

How to operate the glass straight line edging machine?

1. Preparation before starting the machine: connect the water pump, fill it with water, and the machine to observe whether the conveyor belt rotates in the correct direction. If correct, does the water pump discharge sufficient water? If either is incorrect, swap the in the power supply.

2. Clamping the glass: if the digital display shows 00120, it means the glass is clamped at 2mm; 00050 means 5mm. However, this data may not be accurate as it is generally determined by the tightness of the glass. Too tight or too loose is unacceptable. After a period of use, the digital display may need to be readjusted.

3. Machine debugging: lower all wheels by about 10mm. Turn on only the No. 1 motor to listen to the sound and measure the dimensions (the grinding amount is generally between1-2mm), as shown in the figure: take a piece of glass about 2 meters long and 400-800mm wide with a of 10 or 12mm to test the machine. You must be able to see where the glass moves to; do not use small strips, and glass must be straight. Grind 5 times to measure if the grinding dimensions are consistent. If the front is ground more than the back, lower the A-frame the inlet; if the front is ground less than the back, raise the A-frame at the inlet. As shown in the figure.

4. The level the output guide rail should be based on the bottom of the glass just touching the conveyor belt (or 1.5mm from the bottom of the glass). If is too high, it will lift the glass. When the guide rail grinds long glass, the tail end of the glass will exert pressure on the grinding head motor
How to raise the No. 2 to No. 9 grinding head motors?
① Adjusting the grinding amount (for beginners): first lower the grinding to ensure it won't hit the glass. Then, stop the long glass in the middle of the main machine and turn off the power. Open the acrylic cover Use one hand to raise the motor and the other to rotate the grinding wheel. When the gap between the glass and the grinding wheel is about 5mm, on the grinding head motor and raise it. Listening to the sound and checking the ammeter reaction indicates it has reached the glass. However, if it is raised too, it is abnormal (please note the source: Huafuda Glass Machinery).
② Adjusting the grinding amount (for experienced operators): when the glass passes the. 2 grinding wheel, stop the conveyor belt, raise the No. 2 grinding wheel. Listening to the sound and checking the ammeter reaction indicates it has the glass. Then, move the glass to the No. 3 grinding wheel and stop it, raise the No. 3 grinding wheel. Listening to the and checking the ammeter reaction indicates it has reached the glass... and so on.
③ Ammeter reactions:
Generally, the No. 1 motor is the wheel; No. 2 is the diamond wheel (can also be fitted with a resin wheel); No. 3 and No. 5 are for rough grinding front and rear bevels; No. 4 and No. 6 are polishing wheels for front and rear bevels; No. 7 is a resin wheelcan also be a polishing wheel); No. 8 and No. 9 are polishing wheels of different grits; (please note the source: Huafuda Glass Machinery Refer to the following for each grinding wheel:
No. 1: listen to the sound and the grinding amount should be 1-2mm (no need to the ammeter);
No. 2: listen to the sound and check the ammeter; the ammeter should move within 3 small divisions;
No 3 and No. 5 bevel roughness: check the ammeter (within 5 small divisions) or observe the side bevel size of the glass to decide whether to or lower the grinding head motor;
No. 4 and No. 6 bevel polishing: the ammeter pointer should be below 3.5; higher pointer means a brighter polish.
No. 7: listen to the sound and check the ammeter; the ammeter should move within 4 small divisions
No. 8 and No. 9 polishing: check the ammeter; the ammeter pointer should be below 3.5; a higher pointer means a polish, but too high can easily burn out the motor.
